Salt at Shoal Bay
When we set out to renovate Salt at Shoal Bay, it was all about blending style with functionality. we knew we wanted to create spaces that felt both inviting and versatile. Places where couples could retreat or families could gather but still have their own private spaces.
We wanted to capture the magic of those endless beachside summers that so many Australians cherish. Finding the rundown 70s house overlooking the turquoise blue waters of the bay and Tomaree Headland felt like coming full circle to our own childhood memories.
We reimagined the space into a costal retreat comprised of three self-contained apartments, now known as Salt One - Upper Level, Salt Two - Ground Floor and Salt Three - The Cottage.
Our aim was to create something simple, comfortable, and versatile. A place where families and groups could reconnect and make memories to cherish for years to come. It was a labour of love, balancing aesthetics with comfort, and seeing it come to life has been incredibly rewarding.
Now, Salt feels like a true reflection of everything we love about Shoal Bay — relaxed, beautiful, and perfect for making memories.
